I wish I weren’t so tired.
Epically stressful two days at the office. Annual newsletter being printed, several mistakes, several reprints, finicky machines, not enough people to help, and micromangement from every direction.
I’m off to give myself a facial and go to bed early.
But first, another vegan update.
I’m still vegan. Made a beautiful dish of stir-fried tofu with carrots and broccoli and a soy/lime/ginger/honey sauce, on a bed of chow mein noodles. PC and Rabbit ate enchiladas. The smell of cooked meat makes me a little queasy. I think, though, I’m going to have a peanut butter and jelly rollup for a snack before bed tonight.
*yawn*
have you checked out 101 cookbooks? she is awesome for vegans
Yum!
i hear the word vegan and i’m instantly ravenous. strange, that.
You have inspired me to consider giving tofu another try. I’ve made a few unsuccessful attempts at cooking with it in the past, but I don’t think I had the right recipes, or the right technique. Now if I can find it in Luanda…
The smell of meat makes you queasy? Girl, we need to talk. Preferably here in Chi-town. At Blogher 2009. Over a big plate of bacon. At my house. With Deb standing by.
You said the dreaded M word, “micromanagement”. I think that’s the worst word in the world for a working woman! (how many W’s can I fit in one sentence?!)
